Description
This exceptional coffee is more than flavor—it’s a story of resilience. Produced by Yesenia Maria Salgado Lanzas, a mother and farmer who carried on her family’s farm after losing her husband during the pandemic, this microlot is a testament to strength and hope.
At 1,375 meters in the mountains of Jinotega, Yesenia cultivates Red Catuai, Catuai Estrella, and Caturra varieties with meticulous care. After an 18.38-hour washed fermentation process, the result is a cup that bursts with blueberry brightness, prune richness, and sweet cherry undertones, all wrapped in a silky-smooth body.
By choosing this microlot, you’re not just enjoying an award-worthy coffee—you’re supporting a story of perseverance, family, and the power of women in coffee.
